It’s Shuggy Shug’s birthday today!
We love this girl to absolute pieces. She is our perfect pet and typically spends her time either stealing your pillow or guarding the property from squirrels. We can’t wait for conformation and trials to reopen to get her back in the ring. She’s everybody’s best friend and just the sweetest dog on the planet.
She gets her hips and elbows xrayed this week so our fingers are crossed for some sweet Sugar babies later on this year. We love her so much and are thrilled to be able to share her with Kristin Lawless and Cole Vanover. Thanks Sue Lyle for breeding the most perfect girl!

Avro gets mail! With three straight passes towards her CKC Rally Novice title, Avro is now known as Can CH Hawks Nest First Class Flight to RedAero CA BRT ATD RN

Avro turns three this Summer and is really maturing into herself. We love this wild spitfire dog of ours who is up for anything. We plan on breeding her later this Fall, and fingers crossed for puppies due around Christmas time. (already spoken for)

Besides being our best pets, we love to compete with our Tollers in a variety of different venues. They love to work and we love to show them off and expose them to as many different sports as we can!

Collectively, our 4 Tollers have over 20 different titles between them over the past 8 years, all being owner handled by ourselves. Their accomplishments include championships, grand championships, working certificates, basic retrieving and tolling test passes, rally obedience novice titles, high in trial in obedience, chase ability, novice, intermediate and advanced trick dog titles, canine good citizen and canine good neighbours, multiple conformation group wins and group placements, puppy and baby puppy group and show wins, best puppy in specialty show, and multiple best veteran and best altered in show wins. They have also starred in 4 different tv commercials.

We are so proud of what our dogs have accomplished couldn’t have done it without our great breeders and mentors at Foxbrooke Tollers and Hawks Nest Tollers! We would love to see future puppy buyers interested in one or multiple of these different venues. We started out as complete newbies, and now love working with our dogs regardless what ring we’re in!

We took the girls, Avro and Sugar, for an ice cream date to Goderich, ON. By plane of course! The girls love riding along in the back seat looking out the windows below.

In 2020 with very limited conformation events offered in Ontario due to Covid, both Avro and Sugar still managed to obtain points towards their CKC Grand Championships. Avro ended 2020 with 7 GCH points and Sugar ended with 8.
