Sugar comes to us from Sue Lyle (Tolkien Tollers) and Kristin Lawless (Foxbrooke Tollers/Kristin Lawless All Breed Handling, LLC) down in Ohio/Kentucky. She was Kristin's pick puppy from the Polo x Lily litter. Kristin and ourselves co own her, and this way she will get to be shown in conformation very actively in both Canada and the United States. Sugar's pedigree is full of some of our favourite dogs, and we're excited to see how she matures. She has a beautiful coat, effortless movement, and a perfect rear. We often joke that Sugar is named Sugar because she is just so darn sweet, and we wouldn't be lying. She is generally very polite, gentle, and very easy going. She is just a sweetheart, but she also has drive. She loves to retrieve, play fetch, and go for trail walks. She will play for hours with our other dogs or her toys. She loves other dogs, people, children, adventures, and pretty easily adapts to new situations. She also loves squirrels and is known for sleeping up on the back of the couch. Sugar very quickly obtained her CKC Championship at only 7 months old with a big Best Puppy in Specialty Show win! She also excelled in the Baby Puppy ring winning multiple Sporting Groups and a Best Baby Puppy in Limited Breed Show. She is enthusiastic with her training, and we will enter her in some Rally Obedience trials in the future. We also plan to get her in the field, she LOVES the birds.
